Dear Friends,

We would like to present you with a special opportunity for you and/or your company to support a worthwhile cause and increase your visibility in our community.  We are offering you the opportunity to support the Lyme Disease Awareness: Spotlight on Lyme 5k Walk/Fun Run that will take place on September 25th, 2010 in Portland, Maine on Back Bay Trail.

The walk proceeds will be given to Lyme Runner (http://www.lymerunner.com), Lyme Buddies (http://www.lymebuddies.com) and other Lyme Disease Awareness projects in Maine.

We are passionate about this cause and raising awareness of the affects of Lyme Disease on people throughout Maine. As you may know, the reported cases of Lyme Disease continue to grow each year and Lyme is one of the most commonly reported infectious diseases in Maine. Raising awareness about Lyme Disease in Maine is key to help Maine residents better understand what can be a very debilitating disease and help prevent the spread of illness.
